Vaccine Injury of Sean Kreps

I was a completely normal, high-functioning individual. Graduated from college with two undergrads in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering and a masters in Computer Science. Shortly after graduating, I got married and bought my first house with my wife. Prior to my vaccine we learned that we had a baby on the way. Great job, great family life, and a bright and comfortable future.

I was forced to get the vaccine by my employer with threats of termination for those who refused, so I complied and received the Johnson and Johnson vaccine in June of 2021. No immediate effects were noticed, but 3-6 months after the vaccine I began to sleep very heavy. Over time my length of sleep and overall fatigue increased, and by the same time a year later, I could not be woken even by force and began the process of investigating the issue with a neurologist. Two sleep studies confirmed I had no issues with sleep apnea, and the daytime nap study showed that I could fall asleep in under 30 seconds and I would hit REM sleep in about 1 minute after falling asleep. My neurologist diagnosed me with narcolepsy and prescribed modafinil despite never having any issues like this in my past and refused to look further into the issue. Due to scheduling timeframes to conduct the initial tests, it was now January of 2024 and the sleep issues continued to intensify. I would sleep 14-16 hours a night without waking and spent the entire day exhausted, ready to sleep at any moment. I had prior knowledge of a benign pineal cyst and found the neurosurgery team at MUSC in Charleston, SC who agreed to remove the cyst as part of their research and performed the surgery in April of 2024.
The surgery was supposed to be quick and simple, entering my head from the back under the skull with no drilling or overly intrusive techniques required. However, when the surgeon attempted to enter that way, he was blocked by thick, mucus-like brain fluid that had built up in the ventricles in my brain. They then drilled a hole in my skull to access and drain the fluid buildup and rushed me for an MRI post-op to ensure they removed everything they could. The cyst was also removed, but it was understood that my worsening sleep issues were due to the fluid buildup, not the cyst, which had been present and unchanged for 10-15 years with no issues. In the days leading up to the surgery, I was sleeping 20+ hours each time I went to sleep and was unable to remain awake for more than 4-6 hours. Immediately following the surgery I returned to sleeping 8-10 hours and the chronic fatigue had seemingly vanished aside from what’s normal following a major brain surgery.
Investigating the leading causes of hydrocephalus, the link to the vaccine becomes very clear. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is now known to cause blood clots, especially in the brain, which can directly lead to fluid buildup in the ventricles of the brain. All of my symptoms were consistent with hydrocephalus, and if I had not pursued the issue further on my own to find a doctor willing to do more, I wouldn’t be here.
Since the first surgery I have now had two additional surgeries to correct issues with the drilling site that were causing debilitating headaches. My second and third surgeries were in July and August of 2025, and my headaches have been minimal since the third surgery. I finally feel like myself again, but still have a long way to go to address the damage that this did to my life. Three brain surgeries, a divorce, and an ensuing custody battle for my son have been detrimental to my finances and mental health, but thankfully was able to keep my job and now feel able to focus on my career to get my life back on track.

Do your own research. Don’t be content to settle with a doctor’s diagnosis if you think more should be done to investigate your circumstances. If I hadn’t advocated for myself, I wouldn’t be alive. The only fix for my issue was removing the fluid, and the doctors were completely unaware that the fluid buildup existed.

Medications to treat neurological disorders may work to hide the issue and help the symptoms, but they are equally as likely to do the opposite and for cases like mine, they did nothing at all to resolve the issue, further endangering my life.

Blood clots for the J&J vaccine are not confined to the brain area and all patients who have had the vaccine should investigate how blood clots could contribute to whatever ailment they experience if the cause is not yet known.
