I am a 21 year old male that got my first dose of Moderna on 08/30/21. I had been debating on getting it for weeks, and finally gave in. I’m a college student and I love traveling and being social, so I thought it was best to go ahead and get the vaccine as stricter mandates would be to come. I figured what did I have to lose. I believe in vaccines and wanted to do my part. Within minutes of getting my first dose, I tasted metal in my mouth. I was to the point of passing out and was sweating, couldn’t see, and had a headache the rest of the day. I truly thought I was about to die, and God only knows how close to death I was. I am so healthy, and could have went without the shot. I regret it. I wanted my family to know if I could do it, anyone could. I now live in fear of my future and side effects to come.
