Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
"I’m a retail pharmacist, so I have been on the frontline of this pandemic, working some 50+ hours for almost 2 years straight. I’m not anti-vax but I cannot appreciate mandating this vaccine. I’m so sorry to hear the side effects that people have experienced. Now we are vaccinating children and I’m scared to death of the repercussions that will occur- because they will!
I was hesitant to get the vaccine but wound up receiving it in February. Two of my 3 children were getting married this year - one in Portland Oregon- and I didn’t want anything to stop me from being able to travel. I’m a 54 year old healthy active woman but since the vaccine, I’ve experienced extreme exhaustion, bouts of shortness of breath, chills and low grade fevers that just happen ‘out of the blue’.
I have horrible mood swings and headaches now. Things I’ve never had before (even during menopause). Often times, my extremities are just numb and cold. Worst of all, I have awful joint pain all over, especially my hands and back. It seems that the vaccine somehow exacerbated arthritis.
I’m frustrated and feel like the medical community has just turned their backs on everything they/we are supposed to stand for - which is to cause no harm and help heal. I don’t what the answer is but I’m glad there are some forums available to tell your story. To everyone here on this site - stand strong, speak out, and ASK QUESTIONS!
