What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Active, healthy. Healthy weight and lifestyle. Normal mood and disposition.
Chronic health as far as medication was only osteoporosis, gerd and seasonal allergies Snow skiing, running, long distance bike rides were my life
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
The reaction started initially I took pics of my arm with the first two injections. Ten I started noticing my muscles from the waist down were fasciculatiing involuntarily. The cramps came after long periods of the twitching. I didn’t know what it was. I didn’t realize it was from the shot and when I asked everybody told me it wasn’t. I saw multiple drs and ended up with a full neurologist work up. I got the booster at his advice—and my problems got much worse. 11 drug trials later still no solution.
Daily cramping and fasciculations that keep from being rested are my new normal.
Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms
Some seizure meds helped a little but not enough to be worth the SEs of taking those drugs. Nothing has stopped it. Exercise makes it worse—so my favorite skiing I can only manage in short spurts bc of the cramping.
Which solutions were not helpful?
Telling me they get that too. It’s just normal. It’s not from the vaccine etc.
What would you like others to know?
Is there any treatment anyone has found for this?
I’ve tried all homeopathic, Benadryl, tegretol, trileptal, gabapentin, quinine, Baclafen, flexeril, lyrica, pripexole, lamictal, etc
