Vaccine Injury Testimonial

Vaccine Injury of William J Hoffmann

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Prior to Covid, I had been a very physically active person. As a young man, I was an avid runner, and I had kept fit by going to the gym regularly well into my 60's. Although I had stopped running long ago, I was still keeping a high level of cardio fitness by using the treadmill, rowing machine and stair climber. I love the outdoors and hiking, and would plan many vacations on going to places that offered great hikes.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I had contracted COVID in the very early days of the spread. My wife and I were seriously ill and out of work for an entire month. We were reporting to the local health department 2x daily, as there was so little known about the illness at that time. Sometime after recovering from the illness, I received 2 pfizer shots. Between the illness and shots, I noticed that I was continuing to have problems with shortness of breath. I thought that perhaps this was something I could work through, with exercise. However, at the gym, the breathlessness that I would experience did not make sense to me, in terms of when and how it would occur. I could work on the treadmill without undue stress, but certain exercises that would cause me to bend and push, like a leg press, made me faint and dizzy to the point of passing out. Soon I would notice this same feeling when I would bend to tie my shoes! Then, I would have difficulty during short walks, often having to stop and sit to catch my breath. In addition to this, I developed increasing brain fog and joint pain. my ability to exercise soon faded to very little and very inconsistent.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I had become completely discouraged until I found out about REACT 19 and spoke to an advocate. She gave me some resources to try and for the first time in 4 years, I feel hopeful.

Which solutions were not helpful?

I went through pulmonology and had lung scans and breathing tests. All proved to be normal. I went through cardiology and again, tests did not reveal any significant problem. I went through 4 different health care systems looking for answers and found none. I began to accept that this was just my "new normal."

What would you like others to know?

If you are reading this, you are headed in the right direction. Traditional health care does not want to deal with this issue and they are in denial about it.
