How To… Find and Contact Your Elected Reps
There are compensation programs designed to help support those with life-altering vaccine injuries, called the CICP and VICP funds. Because COVID-19 vaccines were authorized under Emergency Use Authorization, they are not covered under VICP — the program used for every other recommended vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccines were relegated to the failing CICP, leaving tens of thousands of Americans without any financial recourse. TO DATE, JUST 60 COVID-19 VACCINE INJURY CLAIMS HAVE BEEN COMPENSATED NATIONWIDE, WITH A 98.6% REJECTION RATE. OUTSIDE A HANDFUL OF OUTLIERS, THE AVERAGE AWARD IS UNDER $5,000.
HR9672 Vaccine Injury Compensation Modernization Act of 2026 {click link for info}, introduced by Reps. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) and Lloyd Smucker (R-PA), would move COVID-19 vaccine claims into the VICP and modernize the program for everyone.

“I am [name], a resident of [city, state]. I was injured by my COVID-19 vaccine on [date] and suffered [brief description of reaction]. I did what the government and my community asked of me and got vaccinated — now I need my government to make it right. [I went from healthy and working, to debilitated and unable to work.] I'm one of over 40,000 members at React19, a nationwide vaccine injury advocacy organization, and many of us are residents of this state.
I've been suffering for [length of time] with no financial support, because the federal compensation program for COVID-19 vaccine injuries — the CICP — has a rejection rate above 98%. [My claim was submitted over x years ago and I still haven't heard back.]
A bill is critical for those who wait for compensation to keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, as well as essential medical care. We have been waiting for years now and cannot wait any longer for the government to do their part.
I am requesting [Representative's name] co-sponsor HR9672 Vaccine Injury Compensation Modernization Act of 2026, introduced by Representatives Smucker and Doggett.”
Always thank them for their time.
