U.S. RESIDENTS: DEMAND ACTION
There are compensation programs designed to help support those with life-altering vaccine injuries called the CICP and VICP funds. However, due to the EUA, the COVID vaccines are NOT on the VICP fund. Two bills have been introduced into the House, H.R. 5142 and H.R. 5143. These bills aim to modernize the delayed VICP and move all Covid vaccine claims out of the failing CICP.
TO DATE, ONLY 4 COVID VACCINE INJURY CLAIMS HAVE BEEN COMPENSATED IN THE U.S. TOTALLING LESS THAN $9,000.
Request action be taken on the following:
- CICP/VICP Reform. (House Reps Sign HR5142 HR5143, Senate draft a companion bill)
- Implement vaccine injury ICD-10 diagnosis codes. (These are currently unavailable in the US)
- Request vaccine injury research be funded through the Long-Covid research bills already drafted.
- Say NO to section 301 & 303 in the PAHPA Re-Authorization, it hurts the vaccine injured's compensation.
Engage your friends and family. Have them call and email on your behalf. The more calls these representatives get, the more likely they are to do something about it.
1 - Sign the Resistbot Petition

2a - Phone Script for Injured for House Reps
"I am [name], a resident of [city, state of residence]. I was injured by my Covid vaccine on [date] and suffered [very short description of reaction]. I did what the government and community asked of me and got vaccinated. Now I am injured and need my government to make it right. [I went from healthy and in the workforce, to debilitated and can no longer work.] Many of my fellow injured are residents of our state and many more nationwide with over 30,000 at React19. I have been suffering for [years] now with no financial support because the government program for Covid vaccine injury claims has a rejection rate over 97%. [My claim was submitted over a year ago and I have yet to hear anything back.] My injured colleagues at React19 recently met with over 35 bipartisan senators and representatives to discuss fixing these funds. They will be coming to The Hill again Wednesday Oct 17th.
I am requesting an urgent meeting with your local staff to share my story and the need for support for HR5142 and HR5143. When can this be scheduled?
I am also requesting my representative attend the listening session on the Covid vaccine compensation bill being sponsored by Rep Smucker from Pennsylvania, on Oct 17, at 4pm in the Rayburn building. There will be food available at this briefing. Who will be attending this meeting on behalf of myself and others injured?"
