What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was active, athletic, healthy and productive. I could eat and drink everything and anything. I had never had any GI issues in my life.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I had my first Pfizer Covid-19 shot on March 4, 2021. I was looking forward to it; a step forward to getting back to normal. My arm was a little sore afterwards but that was it. Nine days later, March 13, 2021, I was standing at my kitchen counter and I felt a strange sensation wash over me. I suddenly felt nauseous, gaseous and just unwell. Other symptoms that suddenly appeared include fatigue, brain fog, cramping, bloating and dizziness. I have since been diagnosed with dyspepsia, dysbiosis, SIBO, POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), rapid gastric emptying (even though I have no history of gastric surgery or peptic ulcer disease), dysautonomia, auto-brewery syndrome, visceral hypersensitivity, swollen lymph nodes, tinnitus, autonomic dysfunction, and chronic fatigue syndrome. I am not anti-vax and it may be purely coincidental, but there were no other significant events or changes in my lifestyle at this time. I have had numerous tests and various treatments without relief. Endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, biopsies, ct scans, blood tests, ultrasounds, breath tests, gastric rapid emptying test, smart pill, brain scan, etc. I have tried various antibiotics, herbal treatments, supplements, probiotics and various diets. When the gas pains are intense, and the burning in my gut has me bent over in pain, nothing provides relief. I have to wait it out for one to three hours for it to pass. Gas-x, charcoal capsules, peppermint oil, even oxycodone, do not provide relief to the bloating and pain. It is like a volcano in my gut that’s constantly making gas. Every day is bad, some days are worse. I live with constant pain, nausea and severe gas. Combined with the daily fatigue and brain fog my life is decimated. It has been over two years and my condition is getting progressively worse, not better. Simply drinking water gives me gas and pain. I have seen 6 gastroenterologists, 2 infectious disease specialists, a nutritionist, a rheumatologist and 2 acupuncturists. They are all mystified and unable to help. I suspect that the GI issues are symptoms of a problem that was triggered by the vaccine shot. Neurological? Immunological? Glitch in the autonomic nervous system? I don’t know. The medical community is also clueless on how to treat these symptoms or what may have caused them.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Nothing I have tried has helped my symptoms. I lost 25 pounds after my illness began, weight I did not need to lose. Drinking Kate Farms nutritional formula helped me regain 5 pounds and has helped prevented me from losing more.

What would you like others to know?

There is evidence showing lingering side effects affecting a small minority of the people who received the vaccine. Politics aside, this needs to be investigated. The vaccines were not safe for everybody and the government needs to respond with support and research.
