What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Healthy- full of life - Walked 3-5 miles a day, drove back and forth between Georgia and Tennessee at least once a month. No health issues.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
10/24/2021- Moderna booster shot
10/24/2021-Leg started hurting
10/25/2021- Became sick with flu like symptoms, tested Negative for Covid, PCP called in antibiotics, still did not recover fully and had antibiotics called in 1-2 more times. Never fully recovered.
4/16/2022 Woke up with total hearing loss in left ear
Was given medication vertigo medication for dizziness by PCP
4/19/2022- Saw ENT for hearing loss- was told it would not get better
4/20/2022- Sent to hospital for nausea, vertigo and weakness
Have never recovered hearing loss- can barely walk to the end of driveway once or twice a week. I have blacked out behind the wheel of the car and can no longer drive. I become so tired and week, that I have to be put to bed, but cannot remember how I got there. I have had CT scans that show a severe increase of white matter to my brain, my memory is gone. Both my pulmonologist and neurologist agree since my health declined immediately and severely following covid booster, this was the most likely culprit. My oxygen level droops to the 70's at night and I will most likely be put on oxygen next week. It is as if I aged 10 years overnight I am no longer living, I am existing!!!
Which solutions were not helpful?
Rest - Resting does not help - I can sleep all day, but if I get up to do something, or I have company, I am exhausted and have to rest for days.
