I took one dose of Pfizer March 18, 2021. Before taking the vaccine I was a healthy 28 year old. I have POTS and Factor V Leiden (diagnosed before V ) My vision was 20/20. I have a child who had several surgeries involving his kidney in 2020. He is my reason for getting vaccinated. I couldn’t live with myself if I got him sicker than he was. A few minutes after getting the V I had a pounding headache. I had flu like symptoms for four days. But on day two things changed. My left eye was swollen, red, and extremely painful. Urgent care looked in my eye and saw nothing and gave me antibiotics. The pain has never stopped. A week or so after the pain and swelling I lost complete vision in that eye. The ER did an ultrasound and sent me home as “it wasn’t emergent.” My vision came back slightly in that eye. I saw an ophthalmologist and continued to see him weekly or bi weekly. He ordered a mri, chest X-ray, and LOTS of blood work. He started to see changes in my eyes. He eventually diagnosed me with uveitis. My vision was 20/50. I now see a neuro ophthalmologist and will see a retina specialist and a rheumatologist. The blood work he did came pack elevated (C Reactive Protein, ESR, and I tested positive for ANA) this is an ongoing battle. There’s a lot more to my story but this is just the quick version,
