Vaccine Injury of Sarah Brochey

My life was really good!! I was working as a substitute teacher and also a cleaner for the district as well. I worked an average of 55 hours per week! I also proctored SAT tests and kids sports on the weekend too. I had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and then again due to remission in 2011. So for TEN years I was in remission!! I was extremely active while taking care of two kids, too!

I went to my local pharmacy for the first vax. I waited 15 minutes afterwards, and felt ok but was dizzy. I went straight home and went to bed. I couldn't go back to work the next day so I just thought I had to rest some more. I thought my arm was going to explode it hurt so bad! I called my primary and she said that I had Moderna Arm. The next day at work I noticed pins and needles starting to appear in my feet and toes. It then progressed up to my hands and fingers. I didn't think too much about this at first. Then, my right knee felt really stiff and swollen. Thought maybe I pulled it somehow. But it was getting worse and was feeling numb...like my whole right leg. Weird right? The feeling I describe is like an elastic rubber band being stretched as far it can go!! This was followed by sharp shooting pains which felt like I was being stabbed over and over. These symptoms developed over the course of a couple weeks but kept intensifying. So, then it moved up my right side to my right arm. How I was feeling was identical in my right arm. I used to walk by the river at the local park, usually once a week at least. Well, one spring morning I was feeling ok but not great so I thought a walk would help. OMG!!! I was trying to walk and all of a sudden I had the worst intense pain squeezing me around my ribcage!! Like someone gives you a bear hug and you cant breathe and it hurts! So I had to turn around and my balance was off, and I couldn't pick up my right foot to walk!! I was dizzy and tripping over my feet. I felt like I couldn't move like I was paralyzed. The weakness I felt was unbearable; I came home and literally passed out on the couch. My body then was swelling up (legs, arms, stomach) to the point where my clothes no longer fit. While this was happening I would get uncontrollable twitches and severe muscle cramps. Over the next couple weeks I had a lumbar MRI which showed nothing. At this point I had to keep working...I don't know how, but I did. Everything I was feeling on the right side went to my left. Started from the bottom of my leg and then up to my left arm. Another new symptom was random and sudden left eye pain. It was weird too! It felt like it hurt to look from side to side. This is when I experienced the worst headache I had felt in my life.
So it was time to get the second jab and I really wasn't ready but you know how it goes... we were supposed to do our part in protecting ourselves and our loved ones. Yikes! This is when it gets really bad! I ended up in the ER after two days of the jab. I remember I was sitting at the kitchen table talking to a teacher about proctoring the upcoming AP Exams at school and I am writing down the dates and all of a sudden couldn't feel my fingers! I dropped the pen and felt like I was paralyzed again. A surge of electrical shocks coursed through my body and I had to crawl to bed. I couldn't walk!! I was so weak I felt like I left my body. At the ER, I had a brain and cervical MRI because the doctor was convinced I had Multiple Sclerosis. Well...all tests came back normal. So, I went home and continued to have more symptoms like urinary retention, trouble swallowing, and I was constipated for 5 days. I also had an overwhelming feeling of impeding doom. It was like someone turned a switch on and I had tunnel vision along with immense fear. My heart would just randomly start pounding out of my chest, and sweating, but then I'd be freezing. My hands and feet would turn bright red and then white. But when I was so cold they turned purple and almost blackish. I was out of work for 2 weeks and when I went back I would be teaching and my voice would get really raspy and I winded. I felt really lightheaded and almost passed out. This happened multiple times while talking. Tinnitus really increased after these episodes along with extreme fatigue. So I went for tests during these months and after any procedure I would have an extreme flare-up of ALL my symptoms.
Finally, after 7 months of testing, I insisted on getting a thoracic MRI because I thought I had Transverse Myelitis. The doctor didn't want to do it; he thought it wasn't necessary. My gut was slightly right! They found lesions in my vertebrae but it meant that my Breast Cancer from 2011 spread to my bones. I was in shock because the cancer was in remission up until this point!! It was the worst news of my life ...in addition to dealing with post vax symptoms with no answers.

Gabapentin helped for about a week and I had to stop due to major side effects.
Doxycycline was the one medicine that helped me the most. I actually ended up with an eye infection so my doctor put me on it for a week. It literally helped me to be able to get out of bed and back to one of my jobs. I still was having multiple issues but it helped temporarily.
Prednisone helped only slightly then once I was off I had a rebound of symptoms.
Hydroxychloroquine helped slightly then I had to stop due to chemotherapy.

Doctors who say "It's anxiety...just calm down and breathe".
Methotrexate almost killed me.
Waiting almost three years for any doctor to do even think about helping me!!!
Since getting the Stage 4 cancer diagnosis most providers tell me that I should just be happy I woke up and don't want to try and find any solutions. I can't even go for a walk but I'm supposed to be happy about this????
I've had multiple Oncologists tell me that my symptoms ARE NOT CANCER related go to a Neurologist or some other specialist for help!!

Be your own advocate!! Don't let any doctor, friend, family member tell you that you are crazy and just deal with this!!!! I am not backing down and I always say that the VACCINE caused all of my symptoms! I've had to self diagnose and find my own solutions. Thank you sooo much to everyone here on REACT19 !! You are all lifesavers and I appreciate all of you so very much!
